The laboratory research achievement 'Towards Empathetic Conversational Recommender Systems' has won the Best Full Paper Award at Recsys 2024.

  The first author of the paper is Zhang Xiaoyu, a master's student of the 2021 cohort, and the corresponding author is Professor Ren Zhaochun from Leiden University. Co-authors include Lü Yougang, a doctoral student of the 2021 cohort, Assistant Professor Xin Xin, Researcher Ren Pengjie, and Professor Maarten de Rijke from the University of Amsterdam.
